Indications

Vibrionic abortion ("Vibriosis") in sheep is caused by Campylobacter ("Vibrio") bacteria. Vibriosis appears in a cyclical pattern bother within a lambing season and from one year to the next. Unprotected flocks may experience losses of 20-80% of the season’s lamb crop.

Description

Campylobacter Fetus-Jejuni Bacterin is a two strain vaccine that is recommended for use to prevent abortion losses associated with either C.feutus or C.jujuni.

Benefits

The vaccine provides excellent protection against either Campylobacter species. The vaccine also has an outstanding safety records: no "stiffleg" or other adverse effects attributable to the vaccine were seen in over 15,000 vaccinated animals. The vaccine is safe to administer during mid-gestation to provide maximum protections against late term abortions.

Directions for Use

Administer 2cc subcutaneously at pre-breeding and 2cc subcutaneously at 3-4 months gestation (at tagging). Store at 35-45° F. Do not freeze. See label for complete instructions.
